What is WiredStorm? What do you do?

In order for a website to "exist" online, it needs to have files that are uploaded to a connected server. Because most people are unable to afford their own server, WiredStorm is able to divide a server into smaller sections ("virtualization") that we rent out for much cheaper prices. In addition, the nature of shared web hosting does not require much technical knowledge of the server and how it works - we handle that for you.


I am on a different host, but I want to switch. How easy is it to do so?

Our support team will gladly transfer you from your old host to our servers if your old host runs cPanel. cPanel uses a very simple server transfer tool that allows us to extract your old account and make a copy on our servers, so you can continue working on your website with minimal interruption.


How long will it take for me to receive my account details after ordering?

As soon as you pay the initial invoice, an account information email will be dispatched to you. It may take a few minutes or hours, depending on your own email provider (make sure to check your spam folders too!). It is important that you save and print out this email, as it contains everything you need for your account.


I just paid an invoice; why I am paying another one today?

We use a "pro-rating" invoice system which invoices all clients on the same day. All invoices are due on the first of each month, and generated 10 days prior. However, if you do not order on the first of the month, your second invoice will be a calculation based on the amount of days from the day you ordered to the first day of the next month (30 - Day You Ordered / Price of Plan). Don't worry - you are not overpaying, and within two invoices everything should be aligned properly and it will be much easier for you since you will know when future invoices are due.


How do I pay for my hosting?

At the moment, we only accept PayPal to process our payments. PayPal is the web's most popular payment processor, and is extremely safe and reliable. You don't even need to have a PayPal account to use it! PayPal accepts Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Discover Card.


Do you have an affiliate program?

We do not currently have an affiliate program. However, we are working on it and look to release an affiliate program for our clients in the future.
